Hi Folk of Awen,
We cannot believe it…BUT 2024 is the year that the Spirit of Awen is MOVING to a NEW SITE!!.. As you can imagine we are all VERY EXCITED…This is DEFINITLY NOT the year to miss… SO… Get ready to pack your camping things, dust off your magical glad rags and blow the cobwebs from your dancing and tribal shoes, because in August 2024 the Spirit of Awen will be back bigger and better than before.
All of the lesser spotted magical folk of Awen are already hard at it so that camp can happen, creating the special and wonderful sacred space that we have all come to know and love. A sacred space that promises to be full of the usual merriment, laughter, workshops, music, dance, ritual, tribe and community.. Oh and something big to burn..…Always…In a meaningful, ritual and sacred way of course..️
SO FEAR NOT.....We are committed, plans are bubbling away in the cauldron and we are already planning an extravaganza for your delight and we can't wait to meet up with you all again on the field.
So..Make no mistake..2024 promises to be a very special year. 2023 was our 10th Anniversary and was our time to say a BIG THANK YOU to West End Farm for having us for the last 7 years but 2024 is the year we say hello to the spirts of place at our new site at Hunts Court in North Nibley.
The year of the Serpent Snake is definitely apt, especially after 2023’s year of the Raven, and what a magical camp we promise 2024 will be …….. So BIG THANK YOU in advance to all have joined and supported us in the passed as well as to those who will join and support us this year continuing to create and stand with tribe and community in circle, helping to create the magic that is The Spirit of Awen Camp……
BUT. fear not because, 2023 on our 10th ANNIVERSARY.. The Spirit Of Awen is still a 10 DAY CAMP…..How FAB is that.. we are all, as you might imagine, very excited..Now you REALLY don’t want to miss out on that….
Believe me when I say that we have been inspired and have spent the last year and the dark months brewing a new, wonderful and magical camp for you to fully immerse yourselves in. As ever our imaginations and creativity are over flowing and the Awen, without doubt, is assuredly guiding.
So don’t miss out, join us and experience the magic of Awen, journey with us between the sacred realms of existence. Know that there will be workshops aplenty, dancing and merriment and drinking of mead!......With music and much laughter. Know that there will be celebration and ritual, a gathering and a coming together, shared experience and A sacred space created and held by all.
